What the Web Design Process Looks Like

Step 1: Connect & Consult

First, reach out and tell me a bit about your project. I’ll have you complete a client questionnaire so I can better understand your needs. From there, we’ll go over details and I’ll let you know if your project is a good fit for one of my packages. If it requires something more tailored, I’ll provide a custom quote.

Step 2: Contract & Invoice

Once we’re aligned on the scope, timeline, and ready to move forward, I’ll send over a digital contract and invoice. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your project slot, with the remaining balance due when the project wraps up. Both the contract and invoice are handled online and only take a few minutes to complete.

Step 3: Gathering Material

When your project is officially scheduled, I’ll share instructions for gathering your website content (text, images, etc.) and provide access to a shared Google Drive folder where you can easily upload everything. I’m available by email throughout the process if you have questions or need support.

Step 4: Draft & Revisions

Once your draft website is ready, we’ll move to revisions. You’ll get two rounds of revisions included in your package - your first round of feedback is due within 48 hours of the first draft, and your second round within 48 hours of the first round being addressed.

Step 5: Off-boarding

When revisions are complete, I’ll help finalize everything: connecting your domain, conducting a thorough clean-up & final touches, and ensuring your site is live. You’ll receive your final invoice at this stage, and once paid, ownership of the website transfers to you. I’ll also provide a personalized tutorial video showing you how to update and manage your new site.
